Carol A. Stewart, 81 of Verona, passed away peacefully at her home on Thanksgiving morning Thursday November 24, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Margaret and James Hughes. Beloved wife to the late Gifford Stewart, Sr. Loving mother of David Stewart, Brian Stewart, Gifford (Angela) Stewart, Jr., and the late Kimberly Stewart. Sister to Debra (late Peter) Cicero and the late James Scott Hughes. Grandmother of 5. Carol was a member of Holy Family Church, St. Joseph's Parish of Verona and was proud of her nursing career through the years. The family held a private burial at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Penn Hills.
