Susanne Nista,

After a long illness has passed away on October 19, 2023. Born in Tulsa Oklahoma on May 30, 1935.

She was the only child of Beatrice Marie Helson and John Donald keifer. She is preceded by her husband of 63 years Dr. Joseph A. Nista. Proud mother of Dr John (Sue) Nista, Mary (James) Munion, Michael (Carolyn) Nista. Dr Mark (Irina) Nista and Cecelia (Tom) Coughlin. Eleven grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was a graduate of Wichita State school of nursing and held a Bachelor of Science degree from St Louis University. She was a member of the Shadyside medical auxiliary and a lifelong member of St Irenaeus church.

There will be no viewing. The funeral mass will be on Wednesday October 25, 2023, at 11 a.m. in Holy Family Parish - St Irenaeus Catholic Church in Oakmont followed by interment in The Verona Cemetery, Oakmont. The family suggests contributions to Holy Family Parish in lieu of flowers.  Arrangements entrusted to BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC., Oakmont.
