Tommy N. Orbin

Thomas N. Orbin, 62, resident of Cheswick, Pa - A loving father, devoted son, cherished brother and friend to many, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, September 6th, 2026.

Thomas is survived by his son, Paul Bertovich (Orbin), daughters Sadie Orbin and Abbie Orbin, as well as his brother, William (Brenda) Orbin. He is preceded in death by his mother Jean (Bayne) Orbin, father, Paul R. Orbin, sister, Cary Lynn Orbin, brother, Kevin (Tracy) Orbin, and his cherished canine companion, Bear.

Born in Oakmont, Pa on December 25th, 1963, he was a resident of the Allegheny Valley area. A graduate of Riverview High School, Thomas worked many jobs throughout his life- from supervisor, machinist, painter, to handyman. Thomas loved the Steelers, westerns, drawing, and making people laugh. He especially loved fishing and being one with nature. Many people in the community knew him as “Orbs” or “Tommy”. Thomas was always willing to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and everyone that knew him.

Friends and family will be received for a Celebration of Life on Friday September 11, 2026 from 10-11 a.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont PA 15139.
