Victor George Erhart, Jr., 100, formerly of Penn Hills, PA, passed away on September 15th in Tucson, AZ. He is reunited with his beloved wife of 62 years, Grace Mahoney Erhart, and his cherished daughters, Laurie Porterfield and Barbara Erhart.
Victor leaves behind a loving family, including his daughters Joyce Strattan, Mary Stalker, Lois Schindler, and Ginny Michaels. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-granddaughters, all of whom will miss him dearly.
A proud alumnus of Central Catholic High School and the University of Pittsburgh, Victor retired from Gulf Research in Harmarville, PA, where he served as head of automotive engineering. He was known for his easy-going manner, sharp sense of humor, and unwavering devotion to his wife, Grace.
Victor embraced life with enthusiasm and had a passion for baseball, golf, football, and crossword puzzles. He cherished creating lasting memories with his family, a legacy of love that he and Grace built together. His memory will be lovingly cherished by all who knew him.
Friends and family are welcome to attend services at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont on Saturday September 21, 2024, from 10 a.m. - 12 noon. Chapel blessing service will follow and be private for the family at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
