Vincent J. "Vince" Provenza, age 88 of Oakmont passed away on Father's Day Sunday June 18, 2023.

Son of the late Lucy (Liberto) Provenza and Vincent Provenza.  Beloved husband of the late Mary Ann "Dolly" Provenza of 65 years who predeceased Vince earlier this year on March 30, 2023.  Loving father of Cheryl (Robert "Bob") Zentgraf, Mark (Annette) Provenza, and Matt (Tracy) Provenza.  Grandfather of Vincent (Erin) Provenza, Rachel (Vincent) Siciliano, Sean (Rachel) Provenza, Steven Provenza, Andrew Zentgraf, and Dillon (fiancée Stephanie) Provenza.  Great-grandfather of Harper Grace Provenza.

Vince was a proud Marine veteran during the Korean war era as a Sergeant and belonged to the VFW of New Kensington.  He enjoyed history and was on the board of the Oakmont Historical Society.  He was also an original board member of the Kerr Museum for 10 years.  He worked for the U.S. Post Office in Oakmont as a finance clerk for 38 years.  Vince was a longtime member of St. Irenaeus Catholic Church of Oakmont.

Friends and relatives will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC., 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139 on Wednesday June 21, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held at 8 p.m. followed by military honors.
