Wallace "Wally" E. Covert, 90 of Verona passed peacefully on Sunday March 15, 2026 at UPMC East Monroeville, reuniting him with his beloved wife Pat. He was the son of the late Alma and Wallace Covert Sr. Beloved husband of the late Patricia. Brother of Sandy (John) Steele of Ormond Beach, FL.
Uncle of Shannon and Shawn (Kelly). Great-uncle of Tyler, Hunter, Camryn, and Sutton.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 18 at 1:00 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont PA 15139.
Wally will be buried at Greenwood Memorial Park with his wife.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
