William "Bill" E. Diez, age 85, of Verona, on Saturday, September 30, 2023.  Beloved husband of Elaine for 64 years; father of David (Andrea), Jeffrey (deceased), William (Kimberly), and Timothy; grandfather of Michelle, Melissa, Joshua, Jacqueline, Nathan, Jacob, and Elizabeth; great grandfather of Brynne, Camryn and Keira; brother of the late Charles Diez, Dolores Aber, Fred Uhlig and Paul Diez. Bill is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Bill worked for many years and retired from Edgewater Steel Company in Oakmont.   Once retired, Bill and Elaine enjoyed traveling to various destinations, along with numerous cruises and bus tours. He also enjoyed watching Steelers and Pirates games, driving his Mustang, and sitting on his front porch visiting with neighbors.  Bill was an avid gardener and also looked forward to camping weekends with family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday October 5th, 2023 in Holy Family Parish - St. Joseph's Church in Verona.  Interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., Oakmont.
