William "Buckeye" H. Altman, Jr., age 73 of Oakmont passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday July 29, 2025. He is the son of the late Patricia and William H. Altman, Sr. Husband to the late Lisa (Flanagan) Altman. Father of Melissa (Tim) Metz, Jillian (Dan) Fitzhenry, the late John Altman, and the late Chris Altman. Granddad to Zoey, Owen, Laila, and Teagan Metz, Benjamin and Daniel Fitzhenry. Brother of Suzanne (Kenneth) McDade, Lisa (Michael) Murphy and the late Cheryl Altman. "Uncle Buck" to Ashley Murphy, Jennifer Foster, and Justin McDade.

Buckeye was a simple man and was never without a story to tell. He enjoyed collecting golf balls, scrapping and watching wildlife. The family wishes to thank the many friends throughout his life that showed him grace and kindness. "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

Private services and burial will be held at Deer Creek Cemetery. The family suggests memorial donations be made to a charity of choice.
