William M. "Bill" Koerbel, age 76 of Pittsburgh passed away Friday September 29, 2023 at UPMC St. Margaret's Hospital.  Bill was the son of the late Betty and Louis Koerbel.  Bill was a veteran who served with the United States Air Force in the late 60s.  Beloved and cherished husband for 56 years to Carolyn (McBride) Koerbel.  Loving father of Michael (Rochelle) Koerbel, Holly (Billy) Smith, Heather Koerbel, Jennifer (Ed) Kunz, Marnie (Kurtis) Bechtold, and the late Tim Koerbel.  Pap-pap to Emily, Noah, Zachary, Brandon, Abi, Austin, Layne, Edward, Hunter, Alivia, Brooklyn and "Paw" to Bronwyn.  Brother of Betty (late Sonny) Moore and the late Ronald (late Mary Ann) Koerbel, uncle to many.  Bill was a simple man who loved cooking out, music, fishing, gardening and computer games as well as Disney World, Disney pins and cruises.

Friends, relatives, and guests will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139 on Wednesday October 4 from 3-7 p.m.  A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. in the funeral home, with a viewing and visitation after the service.
