Richard A. Withum, Jr., 78 of Penn Hills passed away on May 25, 2022. Beloved Husband for 58 years of Carol (Carpenter) Withum. Loving Father of Kimberly (Robert) McConnell, Richard (the late Tina) Withum, and Melissa (the late Joseph) Galiardi. Grandfather of Savannah (Marcus) Poyer, Chelsea (Derek) Ehlers, Tiffany Withum, Courtney Withum, Sara Galiardi, Emma Galiardi, and the late Eric, and Kevin. Great-Grandfather of Lillian and Addelynn Poyer. Uncle of Kenneth (Ruth Ann) LaDrew. Brother of the late Beverly LaDrew. Richard was a member of Holy Family Parish (St. Joseph Catholic Church), Plum American Legion, having served in the Army during the Cuban Crisis. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, coin collecting, and trains. Friends and relatives will be received on Friday, May 27, 2022 from 2-6 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont. A blessing service will be held on Friday evening at 6 p.m. at the conclusion of the visitation.
